“Opening to the Unknown, Exploring New Possibilities”

Join us this year at the ATI Annual Conference in Kyoto-Arashiyama, Japan, Saturday, October 20 – Wednesday, October 24, 2018 (Conference Pre-Day is Friday, October 19, 2018).  This is ATI’s first annual meeting in Asia.  We are excited and looking forward to hosting you in Japan!

Kyoto is a famous city known for its ancient temples, historical districts and rich culture, and hosts visitors from all over the world. Kyoto is 1.5 hours from the Kansai Airport by train (see Traveling Between Kansai International Airport and Kyoto).

The Conference venue, the Hotel Binario, in the Saga-Arashiyama section of Kyoto, is 20 minutes by train from Kyoto station.  Access from Kyoto Station to Arashiyama is provided by the JR Sagano Line (also known as JR Sanin Line – see Traveling Between Kyoto and Saga-Arashiyama). The one way ride to Saga-Arashiyama Station takes 15 minutes and costs 240 yen.  The Conference venue is situated right next to the Saga-Arashiyma train station stop.

At the hotel, 20 rooms are western-style beds, en suite. There are 8 Japanese tatami rooms which can accommodate 3~5 people.  These rooms have a toilet only, and will require that you use the hotel’s large public bath.

There are more hotels and inns in the area.
