Through her business, MoveWell, Kimberly Clark is dedicated to empowering musicians to gain freedom and ease in their playing and to avoid injury through movement education for musicians. Dr. Clark is a flutist, an ATI certified Alexander Technique teacher and a licensed Andover Educator teaching Body Mapping to musicians.

Kimberly is an active recitalist and chamber musician. She performs with Scirocco Winds woodwind quintet and with The Well Trio, a Celtic flute, harp, cello ensemble.

Formerly on faculty at the University of Houston Moores School of Music, Dr. Clark is highly sought as a teacher and clinician performing and giving masterclasses at universities and music conferences across the US. She has performed, lectured, and conducted at nine National Flute Association’s conventions and has been a guest artist at the Florida Flute Fair, Costal Bend Flute Symposium, Kentucky Flute Society, Texas Flute Society, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Texas Music Educators Association. 

Kimberly is the Executive Director of Floot Fire Inc., a 501 C3 organization which holds summer flute workshops for middle school and high school students across the U.S. She has served the National Flute Association on the Board of Directors, as the Flute Clubs Coordinator, and as the Piccolo Artist Competition Coordinator. Dr. Clark is former President and Flute Fest Coordinator for the Houston Flute Club.

Dr. Clark’s somatic teachers and mentors include: Meade Andrews, Barbara Conable, Martha Fertman, Kay Hooper, Chris Lidvall, Amy Likar, Lea Pearson, Kathy Sarra, Susan Sinclair, and Ariel Weiss.
